Data Manipulation Software (DMS)

DMS v1 (January 2010)

The DMS Version 1 constitutes an additional GABRMN effort to provide tools to the biomedical scientific community. This tool will be used to read MRS raw data files from a variety of scanners of different vendors like Philips, Siemens and GE as well as jMRUI intermediary text files in order to process them automatically. The driving idea behind the DMS tool is to obtain a 'canonical' representation of a single voxel spectrum using 512 data points in the range between 7.1 and -2.7 ppm.

All spectra obtained using the DMS cover the same spectral range and have equal number of points, regardless of the original scanner or format of the data. The DMS is the tool that allows to do multi-scanner spectral analysis.
